Back in Boston
I’m back in Boston, wrapping up some loose ends before we drive cross country to Seattle to my summer, research position at Microsoft Research. Doing some work here, playing with the new camera, going through all the boxes and bins i’ve left in Anna’s basement and shed. We’re having a yard sale on Saturday, come by if you’re near Jamaica Plain. My schedule is too hectic right now so i’m going to have to skip out on MobileBarCamp but I will be attending Where 2.0 in San Jose at the end of the month. It’s going to be a lot of fun, really looking forward to it.
Saw my dad today. He’s going to Russia for a month and by the time he is back I will be on the other side of the country.
Anna and I have talked about a tentative route for our drive to Seattle. Turns out you can take I-90 all the way through but it isn’t called the Pike once you get into western New York. Right now the plan is to go to the finger lakes, Toronto, Michigan, Chicago, Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Bad Lands, Montana, Glacier National Park, up to Vancouver and then into Seattle. It’s going to be amazing. Then a more southern route for the ride home.
Also two more random things. First, i’ve been using Flickr like crazy. I have a pro account, unlimited storage and have recently uploaded 500+ of our professional wedding photos.
