Social Genius2

When: Summer 07
Social Genius2 is a pervasive game for small ad hoc networks that encourages name recognition, increases social capital and facilitates networking. Social Genius2 was originally build for the Microsoft Research community to help interns get to know each other and their overlapping interests. It was then rebuilt for the annual Social Computing Symposium and successfully encouraged attendees to get to know each other in a playful way. Players moved up the social ladder starting off as 'loners' and moving all the way up to 'social genius'.
