You Are Being Watched
As the 'Distributed Surveillance Company', we aim to make the world a safer place by crowdsourcing the massive amount of data we must sift through to prevent terrorism. Instead of placing costly police surveillance cameras at dangerous intersections throughout the city and using up valuable police time to monitor the always on cameras, we propose a novel use for the ubiquitous devices that all of us bring everywhere we go. Mobile phones are networked image capture devices, why not use them to give everyone piece of mind?
By installing our custom software on your mobile device, your cell phone will be doing its part to fight the global war on terror. Upon starting the software, your phone will continuously take photographs of whatever is around you and upload them to a website for review. Other participants can collectively monitor the incoming content and report any suspicious activity. Always remember, if you report someone else, we know you aren't doing anything wrong! Together we can stay safe.
